Fodico Marine Group Pty Ltd (FMG) own a variety of inshore and offshore vessels, providing everything from 45m Landing Craft (LCTs) for the delivery of heavy oversize equipment, Tug and Barge combinations, Utility Support Vessels, Hydrographic Survey Vessels to small work and crew boats for passenger transfers and Marine Construction.
As part of our wide range of services FMG routinely undertake maintenance dredging works for port operators throughout the east coast of Australia. We have dedicated vessels in this space which extends to the provision of Class A Hydrographic Surveys. Also serving the port sector FMG owns and operates modern and compliant marine construction equipment and we regularly undertake projects for port authorities on the eastern seaboard.

Collaboration
Fodico Marine Group which is a tight and successful integration of two Queensland based marine companies including Fodico and Hydro-Tow. The combined marine personnel experience and more than a dozen vessels and barges make the group suitable for almost any marine operation.
The Marine Group workforce comprises between 15 and 50 personnel depending on operations.
Fodico Marine Group under take operations on the East Coast of Australia, PNG and New Zealand. Based in Central Queensland, Gladstone our vessels are AMSA Surveyed with some Class approved as well. We are able to be quickly deployed in outer waters.

Management Systems and Risk Management
FMG has developed policies for Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management and these are orchestrated through the company’s Business Management System.
The Business Management System and the FMG SHEQ Management Plan identifies relevant hazards, procedures and control measures that aim to exceed legislative requirements and provide a safe workplace for all personnel. It profiles the organisational structure, resources, systems and methods that will be enacted on FMG Projects. Additional HSE issues which may arise and have not been specifically covered in the system will be immediately addressed in the consultation with Client Project and Site Management.
These systems have been approved and registered with third party accreditation body Global Group and meet the standards of ISO 9001; ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
Insurances
FMG vessels are all covered by Hull and Machinery Insurance as well as a Protection and Indemnity Policy.
The FMG work force is covered with Queensland WorkCover for our Worker’s Compensation and also supplies an Income Protection Policy for all full time employees.

Company Personnel stay up to date with developments and exchanges information through local area industry bodies such as; The Marine Operators Group Gladstone, MSQ Monthly Safety Forum, HSE Alliance Gladstone, Gladstone Engineering Alliance.
FMG proudly sponsors many local not-for-profit charities and community groups, fundraising events and local sporting groups plus those services requiring additional assistance for critical equipment such as the local hospital.
